University of Texas-Austin CDN Chapter

University of Texas-Austin

Located in Austin, Texas

Type Texas serves as a community for individuals impacted by diabetes. We are mostly a support system of students living with Type One Diabetes (T1D), but we additionally encourage involvement from others in the Austin-area who have family or friends living with diabetes. Throughout the school year, we volunteer in Austin, raise money for a cure to T1D, have events for the group and the T1D community and most importantly, we serve as a support system and network for students living with diabetes.
