She has been a Managing Director at the ADA and Chief Learning Officer at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology where she created new products, expanded business and grant relationships, and designed innovative projects valued at more than $35 MM in new revenues.
As founder and CEO of the Medical Education Broadcast Network, she led the company to recognition as the 3rd largest private medical education company in 4 years, developed technology based online educational products, and wrote the curriculum for the Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Institute. The company’s clients included Fortune 500 pharma and device companies, and major professional associations.
Her earlier career included VP roles in sales and operations in consulting, homecare, infusion therapy, joint ventures, intensive care nursing and academia.
She is the author of over 50 published articles and invited speaker for more than 75 national conferences and meetings. Named Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2005, she has received numerous awards, including an honorary Doctor of Letters. Sharyn earned an MS in Management from Lesley University and a BS in Nursing from Fitchburg State University. She has served on more than 15 boards throughout her career, and currently serves on the board of College Diabetes Network and Aging Life Care Association.
