Calling All Mentors!
Description

We are looking for 30 mentors across a variety of diabetes related careers and companies to empower, motivate, and inspire the next generation of diabetes professionals. This program provides mutually beneficial opportunities for both personal and professional growth and we are thrilled to select mentors to be paired with a NextGen Fellow

In 2022, we will select 30 Fellows to participate in this life-changing, exclusive experience for those who intend to dedicate their career path to diabetes. The Fellowship runs from April-November with a rigorous schedule of leadership and professional development opportunities as well as peer connectivity, mentorship, and growth. We are specifically looking for mentors who are endocrinologists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, dietitians, and those in diabetes research, engineering, marketing, advocacy, and business.

"Outstanding to connect with thoughtful and ambitious young adults who are aspiring to a career in my field. From my personal experience living with T1D and pursuing a career in this space, I view it as a privilege and responsibility to invest in our next generation. I believe that having people with diabetes in the healthcare space infuses a culture of understanding and empathy.” - Dr. Dan DeSalvo, 2020 NextGen Mentor
