CDN Blog

We said goodbye to our interns last month - read CDN Student Leader (and former awesome intern) Jennie Herman's final blog post about her time at the CDN national office!

Katharine Gordon, Director of the Legal Advocate Program at the American Diabetes Association, answered some of our students questions about their rights on the job. Check it out!

We had two students at the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) 2014 conference with us. Check out our blog for their posts from the conference.

Back to Campus...and some other exciting things
We recently launched our Individual Membership Program and CDN video. In the next few weeks we will be launching our Chapter Portal and new website.
If you haven't gotten too involved with CDN yet (or even if you have) we'd love for you to take a few minutes to watch our newly launched video. It explains what we do, and why you might want to get involved.

Happy Bolusing!

New Schools
We are happy to announce that students are working to create chapters at University of Vermont, Indiana University, University of Maryland, Fordham University, Kennesaw State University, and Southern Illinois University
Faculty at Northern Illinois University and Luther College are looking for students to help get a CDN chapter started on campus. Let us know if you're a student at one of these schools and interested!
As always, our chapter leaders are always looking for more members. Take a minute to check our list of CDN chapters and see if there's one at your school!

CDN Launches Video
Have you seen the CDN video yet? (It's pretty great, if we do say so ourselves.) Take a few minutes to meet some of our students and hear their stories. We promise you'll be glad that you did.
CDN Launches Individual Membership Program
We're really excited to announce the launch of our Individual Membership Program. This will allow friends, family, and everyone else surrounding college students with diabetes to support CDN, and to continue to make it possible for CDN to provide its services at no cost to young adults. Become a member today!
CDN at AADE 2014
Christina Roth, Founder and CEO of the College Diabetes Network, presented at the American Association of Diabetes Educators 2014 Conference. She presented along with three health care providers, in August. Read about the presentation here.
