 October 2014 Newsletter

October = candy, pumpkins, and a new CDN site.
You have to love October - it brings with it all these sweet and wonderful things. On that note, have you seen our new website?! We've worked long and hard to improve the quality and quantity of the resources and information we're providing you. If you haven't seen it, please take a few minutes to do so - and let us know what you think!

Happy Bolusing!

CDN News

CDN Launches Website
We are SO excited to share with you that our new website has launched. The site features over 70 resources; more information and advice than ever before; and of course a beautiful face lift. While the site is built primarily for students, we made sure to include a special place for parents, clinicians, campus staff, friends and roommates as well. We want to extend a huge thank you to Lilly Diabetes for the in-kind donation that made our redesign possible.

CDN Announces Novo Nordisk Grant
We're excited to announce that we've received a $90,000 grant from Novo Nordisk to support our Chapter Network. Read more in the press release.

CDN Chapters Receive Outreach Kits
CDN recently began sending Outreach Kits to Student Leaders to help them recruit chapter members on campus. If you're a Student Leader who hasn't received your outreach kit and would like to, contact jtreitman@collegediabetesnetwork.org

Calling all Los Angeles Contacts!
Thanks to the Health Access Grant that we received from Medtronic Philanthropy, we're excited to continue recruiting students (as well as clinicians, college administrators, etc.) in the Los Angeles area. Want to get involved? Contact acedrone@collegediabetesnetwork.org
