  • Josh, CDN alumnus from University of Georgia, works as a director Camp Twin Lakes, a camp serving children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and life challenges.
  • Kelsie, CDN alumna from University of Michigan, works in a lab studying childhood obesity and eating behaviors in low socioeconomic status.
  • Jaime, CDN alumna from UCONN, is an RN on a telemetry unit at Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut.
  • Amanda, CDN Alumna from Rutgers University, is working to complete a dietetic internship and Master’s degree in dietetics by 2017, with the goal of becoming a certified diabetes educator.
  • Erik, former CDN Chapter leader, travelled the circumfrence of the world upon graudation.
  • Lauren, alumna of UNC Chapel Hill, works as a clinical research associate with UNC’s Department of Ophthalmology, working to improve patient access to diabetic retinopathy screenings. 
  • Stephen, alumnus of Clemson University, is in school to become a pediatric endocrinologist or an emergency room physician.

Coming in Spring 2018- CDN Off to Work Guide!

Young professionals with type one diabetes (T1D) from across the country have come together with the College Diabetes Network to compile the information, resources, and advice in the pages of this guide. With this information, we hope that you worry less, learn how to prepare and protect yourself in the workplace, and make a healthy and successful transition into adult life! This guide will be available in Spring 2018 - just in time for graduation.
