Attending a Conference
Quote Description

It was an amazing experience. The networking was invaluable and I picked up so many people's business cards who were excited about my educational and career goals and saw I have a passion for the field because of my involvement with CDN.

Attending a Conference
Quote Description

Walking into the [ADA Scientific Sessions] exhibition hall made me feel like I was in diabetes Disneyland. Spending a week surrounded by so many like-minded people was inspiring. From the presenters, my mentor, fellow CDN members, to the CDN staff, everyone had something to offer. All of the presenters left me feeling motivated to work toward my own career so that I might be in their shoes one day and everyone I met left me feeling inspired.

Mentors
Quote Description

AADE 2018 has definitely reinforced my goals. I want to become a Nurse Practitioner specializing in type 1 diabetes. So having one of my mentors with a Doctorate in Nursing and hearing her academic goals and accomplishments really motivated me even more.
